On the evening of December 24th, the “Boundless Prospects, Intelligent and Beautiful School of Information Engineering” 2025 Awards Ceremony of the School of Information Engineering was grandly held in the Music Hall of Qianhu Campus. The event was attended by a distinguished gathering of guests:

Executive Dean Mr. Liu Qiegen first delivered the opening speech, reflecting on the notable achievements over the past year in research innovation, talent development, and industry collaboration. He commended the dedication of all faculty and students and encouraged the community to continue striving toward composing an “Intelligent and Excellent” chapter for the new era.

The ceremony proceeded with a series of award presentations. In the presence of Ms. Xie Chunhua, the Advocacy Pioneer awards were presented to individuals recognized for their proactive contributions to the school’s development. Mr. Li Yunhui and Mr. Chen Shizhong jointly presented the Outstanding Undergraduate Class Advisor awards to more than ten advisors in acknowledgment of their committed guidance and student support. Eleven faculty members were honored as Supervisors of Provincial-Level Excellent Master’s Theses, underscoring the high academic standards of the school’s graduate programs. Classes such as Automation 231 and Electrical Engineering 242 received Advanced Class awards in recognition of their collective excellence and cohesion.

Class Automation 233 delivered a presentation highlighting their activities in Party and Youth League building, academic development, volunteer service, and technological innovation, demonstrating their dedication to meaningful, action-oriented engagement.

Mr. Zhang Zifeng presented the Service Star awards to student members recognized for their steadfast, behind-the-scenes contributions. And The Practice Star awards were jointly conferred by Ms. Wang Junhua and Mr. Liao Shanbin. Moreover, On behalf of the university, Ms. Wang Junhua expressed sincere gratitude to alumnus Liao Shanbin and Jiangling Motors for their sustained support of the university’s practice-oriented education initiatives and presented a commemorative gift.

Mr. Liu Jianguang then presented awards to faculty members honored as Academic & Innovation Pacemakers and Teaching Reform Pioneers, showcasing their dual excellence of in both research and teaching.

During the Vitality Star award segment, Mr. Xiong Chengjun, and Ms. Yin Yingqun jointly presented awards to the representatives, recognizing their outstanding performances in sports, arts, student clubs, and other areas. The Vanguard Star honor award was jointly presented by Mr. Huang Zhangcai and Mr. Liu Qiegen to the representatives, recognizing outstanding faculty and students for their ideological leadership and comprehensive performance. And the Academic Innovation Star awards were presented by Mr. Huang Chunhong to the student representatives, encouraging them to continue exploring in scientific research and innovation.
